The contents of the “chain email” which says that Kurkure is harmful as it contains plastic is totally baseless. If you burn Kurkure there is no plastic melting as Kurkure does not contain plastic.

Kurkure is made of edible ingredients that we use in our household kitchen. This is just an unnecessary scare about Kurkure containing plastic that is being spread around.

Kurkure is a new age Namkeen and made of edible ingredients including rice meal, corn meal, gram meal, edible oil, seasonings, salt, spices and condiments and flavours.

Thus. Kurkure is totally safe on health and can be consumed without having any side-effects.

Kurkure is one of the most famous snack brand in India. I feel that one of the reasons for Kurkure being so famous is firstly for its taste and quality. Secondly for its unique advertisements which features the bubbly Juhi Chawla. All the Kurkure advertisements that are displayed on TV are really fun to watch. But at the same time, the product too stands by what is portrayed in the advertisements.

But lately there have been some false rumors doing rounds about Kurkure. It started with a mail and then people kept on forwarding it to their friends. Mails were forwarded so rapidly that it made them believe Kurkure contains plastic. There was no authentic source from where this mail came from, it just kept on reaching one inbox to the other. But the fact is just the opposite. There is no plastic in Kurkure. Kurkure is a safe and healthy snack that is manufactured by the Fritolay division of Pepsi. Do not believe in such false rumors. Enjoy eating your Kurkure as you did before as there is no harm in it.
